New self help organization -- Silver Lining Villages non-profit eco-performance life skills academy for homeless Veterans!
We are pleased to announce the launch of Silver Lining Villages, a 501c3 nonprofit, four year self help program for homeless Veterans in substance abuse recovery in Metro Atlanta, Georgia! On any given night in the city you can find 1,300 homeless people, 37% of whom are Veterans. Many came back from war with debilitating PTSD, hypervigilance, violent mood swings, ongoing thoughts of suicide and mostly sleepless nights. Some turn to self medication in an attempt to drown out the horror they relive minute by minute. I've been working with this population in homeless shelters since late 2010, which prompted us to start Silver Lining Villages.

Extended Veteran's Wellness Circle at Gateway Center Atlanta
At the request of the Veterans, Toni has extended weekly sessions of the Veterans Wellness Circle to existing serivces at Gateway Center for Homelss in Atlanta Georgia. Results have been substantial with all the participants. As one Vet said :
"It doesn't make any sense that tapping on your body would make this kind of effect on how bad I feel most of the time, but it does. And it gets better every week it seems. I don't understand!"
Understanding is not as necessary, only execution of it and the ability to focus and visualize. This video with Founder Gary Graig explains EFT well, the system most often used with the Vets. Call 404- 404-755-7672 if you want to start a Veteran's Wellness Circle at your site!
